Equal pay for work of equal value

Description:
Occupational segregation refers to the uneven distribution of men and women across different occupations and industries. It has huge impact on the gender pay gap that continues to be at 18,8%, which implies that globally, women, on average, earned about 82 cents for every dollar earned by men.

With this training on ILO’s Convention No. 100 on Equal Pay for Work of Equal value, participants from Ukraine understand that the concept of “equal value” goes beyond equal pay for equal or similar work.
