Labour inspectors need to secure the enforcement of the legal provisions relating to conditions of work and the protection of workers while engaged in their work but also need to supply technical information and advice to employers and workers concerning the most effective means of complying with the legal provisions
In this training labour inspectors learn how to build arguments to encourage employers to change behaviors and how to convey messages using verbal and non-verbal communication to motivate positive action instead of just having sanctions and deterrence as their ally.
